15 Dec H Goodwin (Castings) Ltd Joins the Federation
The rail industry, construction, energy, water and marine sectors are just some of the industries that are served by H Goodwin (Castings) Ltd who make engineered components weighting up to 150kg in ductile, grey and malleable cast iron and is the latest foundry to join the Cast Metals Federation.
The company also offers diecasting in aluminium and zinc in a range of alloys, up to 2kg in weight and has a great heritage, making castings in the West Midlands for over 100 years.
“We are delighted to welcome the company into membership”, says Cast Metals Federation CEO, Pam Murrell FICME. “The company makes some great parts in cast iron and non-ferrous alloys for a wide range of manufacturing sectors, using a range of processes, including for some heritage projects. The more members we have, the better we are able to come together as a sector to highlight the fantastic work that the industry does, not to mention the role we play in recycling metal.”
