
TC-TEC Ltd is the latest company to join CMF as a supplier member. The company was launched in December 2021 to help support the foundry industry and wider manufacturing sector. The business operates from its Chesterfield base and consists of a team of four, led by Engineering Consultant Toni Carannante MBA, MSc, CEng, FICME. Toni is the former Group Engineering Director of Castings PLC and former Managing Director of William Lee Ltd. Toni has worked in the forging and casting industry since 1976.
The business is primarily a UK agent for overseas equipment manufacturers, supplying a comprehensive range of foundry equipment as well as providing capital investment project management. TC-TEC also carries out engineering and metallurgy consultancy along with capital expenditure feasibility studies. The team support UK foundries by helping, where possible, in competitiveness through training in business improvement initiatives such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, 5S and lean manufacturing. They also deliver Metallurgy training for the ICME, along with bespoke company specific requirements. TC-TEC is recognised as a Highfield Qualifications Approved Centre for course accreditation. TC-TEC can also help members improve energy efficiency and procurement. The company is quality assurance to ISO9001:2015.
