20 Dec New Chair for the Cast Metals Federation.
At the recent Cast Metals Federation AGM, Stuart Gregory was approved as the new Chair of the CMF Council. Stuart is the Managing Director of Petrofer UK who are suppliers of specialised process fluids and products to manufacturing industries including diecasting and metalforming.
In becoming Chair, Stuart said, “I am looking forward to working with the Council and staff of the Federation to continue the good work carried out for Members. In addition to the normal representational, reporting and networking activities, we have the new programme of leadership and management training, as well as some planned project work to consider who the industry can reduce the amount of waste sand that goes to landfill. Plus I am pleased that we are organising CASTcon once again in April with Cranfield University as this is a great opportunity to bring the industry together to learn about new developments in processes, equipment and technology.
“I would also like to thank the outgoing chair, Mike Naylor, for the good work that he enabled during his term as CMF Chair.
“Clearly the industry has some challenges ahead but there are also opportunities for casting in the UK. Through working together, we can continue to support the UK Industry.”
