Newby Foundries are a market leading iron foundry based in the West Midlands. We specialise in the production of high quality IATF 16949 accredited castings in various grades of iron, utilising the shell moulding and airset processes.
We produce grey, ductile, ADI and alloy iron castings from 200g to 200kg. Primarily we manufacture castings using the shell moulding and unique vacuum backed shell moulding processes but we also have airset and greensand capabilities. Therefore we can provide customers with the most suitable casting solution for many applications. Our range of processes also enables us to produce castings in various quantities from one off prototypes to tens of thousands.
We produce castings for a wide variety of OEMs in sectors such as automotive, construction, pumps and hydraulics. We also make various general engineering parts.
Other services we offer include in-house machining as well as tier one management and many other finishing and NDT options. The Newby Foundries Group also consists of Newby Foundries (Steel), Charter Castings (Aluminium & Zinc), Lost Wax Development and Newby RapidCast.
