This conference has an expanded scope to include Processing of Metallic Materials through Casting and Solidification. This is because Professor Carl Loper’s name has become synonymous with not just cast iron, but with all facets of metalcasting. “Carl Loper” is a brand. It represents a tradition, but also the vision to go beyond the borders of the known science and engineering of metal casting, which is the goal of this conference.

The event will be held during 22-25 September 2024, at the Sergiu T. Chiriacescu Aula of Transilvania University in the historic city of Brasov, Romania.
