12 Oct ASMET Joins the Cast Metals Federation
As a global supplier of foundry products, including pig iron, silicon carbide, ferro-alloys and filters, the company is well known to the ferrous casting sector. Through its technical partnerships, it is able to offer a full thermal analysis service for improved metallurgical process control, as well as a casting simulation software and real time furnace lining monitoring equipment.
Welcoming the ASMET into membership, Pam Murrell FICME, said, “The team at Asmet bring a wealth of experience to the Federation, not least as an international supplier, so their input to our meetings and support to members will be very valuable.”
Andrew Parker, ASMET Operations Director agreed, saying “Our metallurgical credentials are second to none and at this particularly challenging time, when in person visits are not always possible, our remote support is proving particularly popular. We look forward to getting involved with the CMF and its members as we continue to support the UK industry and ensure its future competitiveness in the global market.”
