Shifnal Road, Telford,TF2 9NN

In collaboration with CAB, ALFED are holding a closed loop recycling event on Thursday 5th September and we take great pleasure in inviting to you to this workshop. This will explore how the circular economy is implemented in practice and feature some of the latest developments in the supply chain.

It will look at the recycling of 6000 series alloys in the construction sector and highlight the pilot closed-loop recycling scheme developed by CAB to promote the sustanability credentials of its members, as well as learn more about the A|U|F aluminium recycling scheme for windows, doors and curtan walling that has been running in Germany since 2010.

In the automotive sector, the REALITY collaborative research project is testing how techniques for sorting and separating specialist alloys from aluminium derived from end-of-life vehicles can be optimised, and this workshop will provide an opportunity to share best practice in closed-loop recycling.

Click here to register and to see the full programme. There is no charge for this event unless you register and do not show. If you require further information please contact Technical Manager Jan at j_lukaszewski@alfed.org.uk.
