09 Feb CMF Regional Meeting – Scotland
CMF is coordinating a regional meeting in Scotland towards the end of March to enable foundries and suppliers to come together to discuss areas of mutual interest, such as trends in industry costs, raw material supplies, skills and health and safety. Open to all, the free event will also provide an opportunity for the foundries to discuss the current state of trade and trends in the industry.
Speaking about the forthcoming event, Pam Murrell of the Cast Metals Federation said, “This will be the third time that we have been able to facilitate a meeting of this kind, and I am pleased that this year, in addition to the meeting, we also have a presentation on ‘Enhancing Sustainability Through Behaviours’, from Richard Heath, Health and Safety Officer for CMF, and a representative from BSi coming along to speak about some of the latest quality, environmental and safety standards relevant to manufacturing industry.”
