17 Aug New senior CAD design manager at HCM
Toolmaker HCM has employed a new senior CAD design manager – Mark Bluck.
Managing Director Simon Hanson says, “He will be working alongside Tony Winstanley and the rest of the team in the offices – adding strength and depth to the front end of the business. Mark is very comfortable with designing/project managing and is technically minded and competent in all aspects of tooling.”
Prior to his appointment at HCM, Mark had worked for 27 years at Triune Precision as a design and operations manager. Triune were a die cast toolmaking company very similar to HCM and had been established for 45 years before being bought out from the original owners, before the facility was recently closed.
Prior to this employment he did a mechanincal engineering apprenticeship after fininshing his HNC diploma at technical college and worked for the Royal Signals and Radar establishment as a craftsman fitter and turner. He then moved into Aerospace as a CNC machinist before joining Triune as a CNC machinist, working his way up through the shop floor and into the design department.
