16 Nov Tritech Group and Uni Deritend Announce New UK Investment Casting Devision

Tritech Group and Mumbai based parent company Uni Deritend Limited (UDL) have announced the establishment of a new UK based commercial investment casting division. The new division will see Uni Deritend Europe (UDe) operating out of Tritech Groups’ Wrexham headquarters and global manufacturing centre, with warehousing at the new Tritech Group customer logistics centre.

Ian Walker, Tritech Group Managing Director, said: “We are seeing tremendous growth with our aerospace and defence customers and we have allied to this the commercial markets that are expanding due to growth and investment in the sector.”’ We can now service our growing commercial customer demands with UDL. If a customer’s product is better suited for casting and machining in India, we can now undertake the work there. We see this as a win win situation for all involved.” The establishment of UDe will support the growing commercial customer base that both UDL and Tritech Group has in the oil and gas, automotive, nuclear power, medical, mining and engineering sectors.

As the business for UDe grows, services and products from the Neterwala Group metallurgy sector will be added to the product portfolio, including sand castings, centrifugal castings and fabrications. Tritech Group now encompasses six sites – three In Wrexham, two in Devon and the new aerospace facility in Dharwad, India.
