Established in 1982, Shakespeare Foundry operates manufacturing facilities in Bolton and Preston (UK). Both plants use the latest materials and technology, providing the quality and flexibility to satisfy both long term supply agreements and urgent breakdowns.
The company also produces high and low alloy steel castings to internationally recognised specifications for General Engineering applications including Defence, Rail, Mineral Processing, Cement, Power Generation, Automotive, Nuclear and Fluid Processing and Control.
Shakespeare Foundry (Preston) has operated from their existing site in Higher Walton, Preston, UK for over One hundred years. At the turn of the 20th century, this site was originally known as William Coupe Ltd. and produced general engineering / jobbing products with cupola-melted cast iron.
Today Shakespeare (Preston) is the UK leader in large and heavy SG Iron castings supplying across all industrial sectors from Nuclear, Green-energy and Power Generation to Marine, Shipping, Tunneling and Automotive
